Rob Parks contributes an extensive marine background to our team. From managing a large south Florida marina to extensive liveaboard and cruising exploits, he has gained a wealth of practical knowledge that will serve our customers well. He served for several years as the Sales Manager for Seaward Yachts, builders of the innovative vertically retracting keel sailboats. He dealt with all aspects of sales, including marketing, quality control, demonstration sails and new boat orientaion. Before returning to the Treasure Coast, he spent several years at a prominent Boatyard in the Florida Keys representing new boat lines: Edgewater, Parker, Jupiter, and Cobia, as well as a full service brokerage office. Outfitting new boats has given him first hand product knowledge of the latest marine systems available. He has logged thousands of miles in boats of all types; traveling the eastern seaboard, Bahamas, Keys, and the gulf coast of Florida.
John Barrineau has 30 years experience with repair of Commercial and Naval ships as a Quality Assurance representative and has spent most of his life around boats of all types. In 2006 he took the required Coast Guard test and achieved his Operator Of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) Captains License. In 2014-2015 he took an interest in sailing and successfully completed the American Sailing Association courses 101 Basic Keelboat, 103 Coastal Cruising, 104 Bareboat Cruising, 105 Basic Navigation and 114 Catamaran Cruising. In his younger years he was a competitive water skier and competed on both the local and National level in slalom. He also is a PADI open water certified diver and an International Gamefish Association IGFA certified Observer for Billfish tournaments. He enjoys fishing of all types. John’s experience in both power boat, sailing and other water related activities allows him to converse on many levels pertaining to water related activities and associated vessels.
